Review from Tripadvisor traveler

A peaful gateway
"We couldn't have been more happy with our stay at Pu Luong tree houses. With an amazingly peaceful and beautiful setting, with views across the rice fields, it made a great escape from city living in Hanoi. Every detail of the homestay has clearly been thoughtfully choosen; the furniture, the buildings and the beautiful gardens.
The staff at the tree house were kind and friendly which made for a very welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and they were more than happy to accomodate to us be vegetarian and vegan.
Travelling to and from the tree house was made easy as drivers were arranged for us. All the drivers were safe and friendly.
We absolutely loved our stay at the treehouses and have no doubt that we will visit again. "

Best experience in Vietnam
I lived 4 years in Vietnam before and when I was back for a trip we decided with some friends to spend the weekend together in Pu Luong. This was without doubt the best destination in Vietnam. Big part is thanks to Dzung, Duy and the rest of the amazing staff.
We booked very late and dzung was super helpful to offer us accommodation and even searched accommodation for the night they were fully booked. The tree houses are amazing and waking up and going for a walk through the rice fields felt out of this world. Duy took us on hike to the caves and spent the whole morning with us. Definitely a recommendation!

Beautiful tree house in Pu Luong, Nature Reserve
"We stayed at Pu Luong Treehouse for 4 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay (we extended it, in fact, after seeing how beautiful the location was!). The whole place is magical, and the treehouses are very cute. What brought this place to another level was the staff’s wonderful attention to detail, from the lovely landscaping, cute decor, and fresh flower arrangements all over. The staff was helpful as we’ve seen in our 6+ week stay in Vietnam.

The meals were the best we’ve had staying in a number of homestays, and were much more creative than your standard “stir fry meat and morning glory” we’d seen elsewhere (which, while delicious, can get a bit repetitive). We spent our days lounging around in the hammocks provided, or doing some light hiking nearby. If you’re looking for a place to park and relax and just enjoy beautiful scenery, this is it. (It’s not the easiest to get to, but isn’t that why you’re coming to a remote national park away from the throngs?)

A couple notes for awareness - the treehouses don’t have A/C, just fans, so if it’s very hot when you go you should just be prepared. And also the national park is big, so if you don’t have motorbikes you may need to rent them. Finally, be aware that payment is cash only. We didn’t have enough on hand, and they allowed us to pay later and have been *extremely* patient as we’ve been working with our US bank to arrange a wire transfer. But make sure you bring enough cash so you don’t have to go through this!

We would definitely stay again and take advantage of the beautiful scenery, wonderful and unique food, and such warm hospitality!"
